The driver’s companion
With its robot head, the MiniTOUCANGO box takes place on the dashboard and becomes the driver’s little companion.
With its high-speed sensor, it scans 68 points on the driver’s face 60 times per second and detects the first signs of drowsiness and distraction at the wheel.
With its data fusion technology, MiniTOUCANGO combines the facial signals with the driving environment signals present in the device such as speed, location, road type, travel time, and time of day or night. The MiniTOUCANGO will assist the driver in real time at the wheel with progressive sound and visual alerts, emitted by the device.
The MiniTOUCANGO is smart and connected. It offers 5 (five) levels of drowsiness to the driver through predictive sound alerts and progressive color levels. MiniTOUCANGO also features two levels of distraction; loss of abnormal gaze at the road and smartphone abuse.
Drowsiness alerts
MiniTOUCANGO accompanies the driver with 5 levels of alerts of drowsiness at the wheel by progressive sound and visual alerts. Thanks to MiniTOUCANGO, the driver knows he is accompanied and secured, especially during long trips and night trips where the risk is very present.
Distraction alerts
MiniTOUCANGO warns of the risk of distracted driving with an audible and visual alert in case of sudden abnormal loss of attention to the road. The driver is thus aware of the risk of distracted driving and can avoid an accident.
How does MiniTOUCANGO work?
OUCANGO by Innov+ has developed and patented an on-board software based on a facial recognition model of driver emotions. Facial recognition is based on a model that tracks 68 points on the face 100 times per second to deduce behavioral anomalies through changes in the face such as yawning, head posture, gaze direction, change in eye rhythm or pupil dilation.
The device analyzes the driver’s state of alertness in real time. The NIR optical sensor allows the tracking of the driver’s eye movement even with the use of glasses and sunglasses.
The device is connected. It allows the creation of a community of alert drivers and the use of Big Data for road safety.
The MiniTOUCANGO device is based on a Big Data vigilance platform associated with algorithms based on artificial intelligence, which is embedded in the Toucango box on vehicles, allowing us to make our alerts predictive and adapted to environmental and personal conditions.
